... you buy your first lawnmower!
We lucked out last year by having our lawn mowed as a wedding gift. Once the snow melted this spring and the grass began to grow, we knew we had to break down and get our very own mower. After an afternoon of searching, we settled on this 50-inch Cub Cadet from a local dealer. We got a pretty good deal because it's slightly used (two years old), but we're confident it will work just fine for us!

By the time the mower was delivered, our lawn desperately needed attention ... especially because both of our neighbors are so meticulous about keeping their grass well kept.
Eric got to try first, mowing one side of the house.
Stacy had her turn on the other side. (No, that's not our house behind her, for those who haven't seen it. That's one of the diligent neighbors'.)We both agree that mowing is the most fun chore that comes with being homeowners. Hopefully, our neighbors won't be embarrassed by us anymore!

At least you guys have PLENTY of lawn to mow so you won't have to fight over who gets to do this chore :)
