30 By 30

The idea is a simple one - set and accomplish 30 "goals" before turning 30.  These goals can range from silly to strenuous.  Stacy got the idea from a friend and has decided to tackle the challenge herself.  Over the next year and a half, Stacy will be sharing her accomplishments, in hopes of reaching all 30 by April 19, 2014.

Music on the Mall

We joined Brian and Melissa one recent Wednesday evening for a concert on the mall in Brunswick.  The band playing was Apple Scruffs, a Beatles tribute band.  We grabbed some dinner to eat on the mall from Flipside, a new local organic pizza place.

Lucy was more interested in the concert-goers than she was in the music! (A blossoming reporter's instinct, perhaps?)

We capped the evening off with a visit to our favorite Brunswick establishment, Gelato Fiasco.  We decided to let Lucy have a taste, too.  She's clearly not her mother's daughter because she didn't like it.

We are looking forward to taking advantage of more free family-friendly events this summer :)

A Typical Morning

Lucy and I love to spend time outside. We bring out a blanket and a basket full of toys.  Lucy likes to watch the cars and wave as they drive by.

On this particular morning, Lucy wanted to call Eric at work. "Da-da? Da-da? Da-da?"

She didn't get to talk to him but blew him a kiss.

Upta Camp

While Shaun, Michelina and the kids were visiting, we spent some time with them and the rest of Eric's family at a camp on Sebago Basin.

Grampa made the mistake of giving Lucy a pair of his safety glasses to try on - she quickly claimed them as her own!  They have now become one of her favorite toys to play with.
